When I was young I bred a variety of livebearers, labyrinth fish and cichlids. I had my first success with the discus fish in 1976, when I received young "Wattley Turquoise Discus" directly from the zoo "Wilhelma" in Stuttgart. For those times, this was a real stroke of luck because healthy offspring was rare.
